Mary Neville
MARY NEVILLE
Mary Neville, a Kerry artist is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design. Mary worked as a graphic designer in Scotland for five years before travelling to Asia for a year in 1991. From 1995 to 2000 she lived and painted in Taiwan taking a year out to travel around Africa.
Her paintings have been described as “a celebration of colour” with her early work invoking scenes and memories of her personal travel log around Africa and Asia. Her current work tends to lean towards impressionism, echoing the colours and moods of the landscape that surrounds her.
Since returning home she has been living and working in Kerry.
She has had six solo shows.
